Ugly Green Monsters
Ugly Green Monsters Some people are always hungry and mean They have monsters that are horrid They are slimy and green Always they eat, all the good things Then they make a big mess Always they leave it, and they never confess And those monsters they have, hooked onto their backs Are full of envy and hate, carried around, like bumpy black sacks They never let go, because their fear gives them loss All wrapped up in a world, that that is ugly and gross Self conceited and selfish, they hide it inside They won’t let you know, caught up in that pride They always lash out and always they blame Those monsters make them different They are never the same But all that they are is a monster that’s green With purple spots and fat belly’s They are horrid and mean And they never let go of all the pain and the hate Because they cannot make friends And they never could wait Those monsters are noisy and loud Always you see them, within a big crowd They have no time for friendships, or love All it wants in its life is something to shove And those people I know couldn’t see With their eyes They were clouded in judgement And so many lie’s Those monsters held tightly They wouldn’t let go And again I was pushed Yet you never did know Those monsters were weaker I have an army that’s strong No matter what they tried I would not go along And those lies that they hide within All their fear and hate Will be, their own downfalls Like a big massive weight And all the help they are given May one day help them see That if you carry those monsters You can never be free ©Copright Diane Rogers aka Diana Beacon |

Diane,
I am a hair stylist I have run into people that where hard to please and felt like they had that personality. When I do run into that personality it bothers me more and I think about it longer than if I have done one hundred nice people and everything has gone very smooth. It is someing how they leave a grey cloud even after they are gone. Love & light intune

yup, I know what you mean there I still work in a supermarket you get to see all walks of life coming and going some pretty some not so pretty and they all expect you to keep on smiling no matter what because it's supposedly what your jobs about and yet if they were able to see much deeper into things and beyond all that arrogance then they may well think a little differently, because they are the ones out of control haha and all that power that they think they have is right their within your hands kaboom. The things we could do if only for a moment
 not saying everyones like that though their are some very sensible people that do understand and if it wasnt for them, everywhere would be complete chaos and total bedlum.. Although unfortunatly they are the ones that get in the way and at times victimised.. sad state of affairs in those circumstances especially when its anothers nasty self conceited  impressions that keep on backfiring on everyone..you take care  Last edited by diane : 09-02-10 at 01:52 PM. |

Thus the feeling grows-
I have made it a point to make eye contact when I meet people anywhere especially at the check out counters.There is so much that you can see in a person and perhaps help make thier day.No encounter should be wasted if you live life in the moment. If for example I just stood there waiting and said nothing or did not smile or give a bit of humor it would be only like an assembly line just empty people passing. Life is to be shared thus everyone that is interested grows together. It is not a one way street.Have a good day all
